My products are the result of a warm and supportive relationship with my Grandma Pearl - a very creative woman - whose hands were never still. She taught me how to crochet and to appreciate the gift of having a creative mind. Piccalily Pearls is named for her and my Grandma Lillian. My scarves are named after my aunts and I am working on new items to carry the names of my mother, Eugenia (Jean) and my sister, Paula. Family is very important to me and, fortunately, my family is very supportive!

The majority of my designs are created as I go — they are living, breathing works of art. I am always open to requests and suggestions. I am proud to be an Unfinished Woman, constantly seeking outlets that define me and bring pleasure to others.

I live in Michigan with my great husband, Steve, and two wonderful dogs, Jake and Dizzy. My son Drew pops in and out as he attends an instate college. My life is kept very full, also, with four step children, their spouses and three grandchildren: Sophia- in California, who refers to me as her "Funky Grandma", Jillian in Indiana, and Isaac here in Michigan.
